Brussels, Aug 30 (IANS/WAM) The European Commission has announced first part of its agenda in 2013 for Morocco in terms of a commitment of a total of 110 million euros (over $145 million) for economic and social development in that country.
"Our support for these two major areas of socio-economic reforms allows us to contribute to a more inclusive growth in line with the commitments made by the EU to its Moroccan partner line with the new approach of the European Neighbourhood Policy", said Stefan Fule, EU commissioner for Enlargement and European Neighbourhood Policy, in a statement.
"These actions are also designed to meet the needs of the Moroccan population regarding the redistribution of growth in Morocco," he added.
