Eveready Industries Wednesday said its net loss narrowed down to Rs.2.15 crore in the quarter ended March 31, 2013.
The firm had reported a net loss of Rs.86.01 crore in the corresponding period of previous fiscal.
The leading battery maker's total income during the fourth quarter last fiscal stood at Rs.227.79 crore compared to Rs.224.11 crore during the like period previous fiscal, it said in a filing to BSE.
For the full year, the company posted a net profit of Rs.5.08 crore for the fiscal 2012-13 against Rs.79.85 net loss during fiscal 2011-12.
The company's total income during last fiscal rose to Rs.1035.33 crore from Rs.980.30 crore during the previous fiscal.
The two main product segments of Eveready - batteries and flashlights - registered growth contributing to the sales gain, according to a statement here.
