Experts here on Saturday explored the possibilities of getting rid of traffic snarls in this city of the Taj Mahal and disciplining the virtual free-for-all situation prevailing on the roads.
The meet was organised by the Society for Preservation of Healthy Environment, Ecology and Heritage of Agra for the city which gets millions of tourists annually.
"The incrementing imbalance is putting greater stress on the environment, consequences of which are now clearly visible at different levels. Like many other Indian cities, traffic management has become the most challenging task in Agra," Shabd Mishra, one of the organisers, told IANS.
