At least seven people were killed and 180 injured in an explosion at a warehouse in China's Tianjin city late Wednesday.
The blast occurred around 11.30 p.m., Xinhua news agency reported.
Locals said flame lit up the sky and a blast with a big noise blew up dust dozens of metres high. The explosion also shattered glass windows.
Li Jing, a woman who lives a few metres from the explosion site, said she saw the wounded being sent to hospitals.
