FC Porto slammed Arouca 5-0 in the eighth round of the Portuguese football league, with goals from Quintero, Jackson Martinez, Casemiro and Aboubakar, at the Estadio Nacional de Aveiro.
Colombia midfielder Juan Quintero scored first for Porto, shooting a left-footed effort in the 24th minute Saturday night to the upper left corner, reports Xinhua.
Martinez scored two minutes later, with assistance from Brahimi and Brazilian midfielder Casemiro made it 3-0 in the 39th with a header from a cross by Spanish forward Cristian Tello.
Martinez scored again in the 60th minute, served by Tello. Cameroon forward Vincent Aboubakar closed the scoring in the 87th minute with his left foot following a brilliant pass from Quaresma.
It was all Arouca for the first 20 minutes of the match, who saw the most scoring chances, but it was Porto who dominated the rest of the game after Quintero's first goal.
Porto now have 18 points, one point less than league leaders Benfica. Arouca are in 13th position with seven points.
