Marvel Studios, which has created and promoted superhero characters like Spider-Man, Captain America and Black Panther, is now planning to make a film with a female superhero as its protagonist.
The studio is hoping to release a comic book movie featuring a female protagonist, said its president Kevin Feige, reports contactmusic.com.
"We have a number of candidates from the comics and from the movies we've already made. It's just a matter of finding the right storyline, the right filmmaker, the right time," Feige said at the Entertainment Weekly's CapeTown Film Fest.
When someone from the crowd suggested for a She-Hulk movie, Feige said: "She-Hulk would be pretty great."
So far, only actress Scarlett Johansson has essayed a crime-fighting woman in Marvel Studios' films "Iron Man 2" and "The Avengers". She will also be seen in 2014 release "Captain America: The Winter Soldier".
