Fiat rolls out Punto Sport in Bangalore

Leading Italian automobile-maker Fiat here Wednesday rolled out a sporty version of its Punto model with an advanced multi-jet diesel engine.

"With sporty looks and a distinct Italian style, Punto Sport will set a benchmark for diesel hatchbacks in India, with features such as sport pedals, sport decals, chrome exhaust pipe, roof spoiler and sport carpet floor," Fiat Chrysler India managing director Nagesh Basavanhalli told reporters at the launch event here.

Priced at Rs.7.74 lakh in Bangalore and Rs.7.6 lakh in New Delhi, the limited edition of the model will be available across the country in pearl white and exotica red colours with black combination.

 

The model also sports dual stage front airbags with early crash sensors, fire prevention system, immobiliser with rolling code, auto air-conditioning and speed sensitive volume adjuster for audio with remote control.

As a wholly-owned subsidiary of Fiat Group Automobiles SpA, Italy, the Mumbai-based company distributes a range of passenger cars, manufactured by its joint venture with Tata Motors.
