Television actor Manav Gohil, currently seen in "Khelti Hai Zindagi Aankh Micholi", feels that it is important to have realistic elements in fiction shows as well.

"Fiction must have an element of reality in it. I am glad that people are trying to pen down and display things in a realistic way," Manav told IANS in a telephonic interview.

"Khelti Hai Zindagi Aankh Micholi" revolves around the struggle of a single mother Shruti (Gautami Kapoor) and Manav is seen as her friend Sanjay.

The realistic side of his character attracted him to the show.

"He is a real guy. This is what I like about him. The idea was to keep it as close to the reality as possible. This encouraged me to take it up," he said.

Harshali Zine's character inspired from 'Bunti Aur Babli'

Quite a few TV shows have been inspired by movies and television actress Harshali Zine says that even she feels that her role of Tanvi in "Diya Aur Bati" is akin to what Rani Mukerji's played in "Bunti Aur Babli".

The actress plays a con woman in the show.

"My character Tanvi is a con woman and has a gang where one more person is involved...I connect my track to 'Bunty Aur Babli' a lot and that's one of the reasons to be part of the show," Harshali said in a statement.
