Former Brazil international striker Fred said he is under no pressure after failing to score in his first two matches for new club Cruzeiro.
The 34-year-old blamed the poor state of the Estadio Ronaldao pitch for his team's 0-0 draw against Caldense in Brazil's Campeonato Mineiro on Saturday, reports Xinhua news agency.
"The first goal will come naturally," the former Lyon player told reporters after the match. "I was anxious only in the first match but not now. Soon things will fall into place.
"The pitch was difficult because our team is very technical and it was difficult to pass. Caldense played very well and that made it difficult for us."
Fred signed a three-year contract with Cruzeiro - with whom he played in 2004 and 2005 - after parting ways with their Belo Horizonte rivals Atletico Mineiro in December.
