Five foreign nationals have been booked on charge of misbehaving, threatened and assaulting a Air India cabin crew during the air journey from Sydney to Delhi, Delhi Police said on Wednesday.
Three of the accused are Australians, one from New Zealand and one from Italy.
Police said the incident was reported to the Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGIA) police station at 10 p.m. on Sunday night.
"Action under Rule 22 of the Aircraft act has been taken against the five accused, including three women. They misbehaved, threatened and assaulted the staffer during journey in the Air India flight number Al 301," Deputy Commissioner of Police, IGIA, Sanjay Bhatia told IANS.
They are Australians Khederlrain Mark, 22, Khederlrian Khoren,52, and Khederlrain Goulnara,55, Tumarkina Nataliya, 56, of Italy and Liubov Leonidovna,44, of New Zealand.
