At least five people were killed and around 70 others injured in three bomb blasts that rocked Egypt Friday, a media report said.
The first blast took place at the police headquarters in Cairo, killing four people and injuring around 70 others, Al Jazeera reported.
The blast also damaged the nearby Museum of Islamic Art building.
Egypt's Antiquities Minister Mohammed Ibrahim said the blast had damaged artifacts inside the museum.
The second explosion took place in the city's Dokki district next to a police vehicle, killing one person, the report added.
The third blast hit a police directorate in Giza city. According to police, it was carried out by a crude home-made device.
There were no casualties reported.
The attacks come on the eve of the third anniversary of the 2011 uprising that led to the ousting of the country's decades-long ruler Hosni Mubarak.
No group has claimed responsibility for the attacks.
