Rapper Badshah's performance on the first day of Absolute Enchanted Valley Carnival (EVC) here was cut short as it was going beyond the permitted time limit. However, artistes like Flo Rida, DJ Dutch duo Blasterjaxx and Rishi Rich enlivened day one of the music gala.

Badshah was on Saturday one of the key performers of the Terra stage of the event held at Aamby Valley City, where actor Farhan Akhtar also performed along with his band -- Farhan Akhtar Live.

Starting the show with some of his hit songs like "Saturday Saturday" and "Break-up song", Badshah amplified the party mood of the audience.

However, the performance had to stop as it crossed the time limit of 10:00 p.m.

The excited audience waited for a while and shouted "We want Badshah, we want Badshah", but he had to leave the stage.

The timing for Terra stage was running late, from the schedule. Badshah started his performance around 9:30 p.m. and since 10:00 p.m. was the deadline, he had to stop, and this disappointed his fans. Nevertheless, they made the most of his performance.

The multi-genre fest and camping festival saw a gamut of campers revel in the fun with the line-up of artistes.

As the sun set, Bollywood fans rejoiced to the tunes of R&B trio Rishi Rich, Juggy D and DASU, with some of their biggest hits. It was special because Rishi Rich and Juggy D were performing in India for the first time in 10 years.

The evening continued with the band Farhan Live unleashing crowd favourites from "Rock On!!" and "Rock On 2".

Attendees of the Terra stage enjoyed the soulful performance by Arjun Kanungo followed by the Punjabi beats of Badshah.

On the other hand, Blasterjaxx rocked the audience with their covers and remixes of top songs, but the highlight was American rapper Flo Rida, who set the stage on fire with his top songs "Low", "Right round", "My house" and more.

A few lucky girls also got a chance to dance with Flo Rida on stage during his performance, while the artiste himself also got off the stage and made his way in the crowd.

Earlier in the day, EVC's Cosmos stage saw Alpha X Omega and MOJOJOJO's electronic dance music beats setting the mood, and the day continued with the opening of the Terra and Akva stages with Monophonik, Blank and DJ Ankur Sood.

Alongside, the campers treated themselves to the food fiesta Culinarium, and the crowd was also seen enjoying an array of sports and cultural activities. The quad bike and bungee jumping turned out to be a big crowd pleaser with a majority of visitors trying their thrill out with the sport.

A variety of music spanning different genres with Anish Sood, Arsh Vs Folic State and Juliet Sikora, left the crowd in high spirit.
