The season's first fog on Wednesday disrupted power supply in Ghaziabad and also created problem for motorists, officials said.
Residents in the posh Raj Nagar, Sanjay Nagar, Kavi Nagar and Govindpuram areas faced power cut from 5.00 a.m. to 9.00 a.m.
Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited (UPPCL) Superintendent Engineer (Transmission) Yatendra Kumar told IANS the power supply was disrupted from Murad Nagar 132 KV power station to the Lal Kuan feeder.
This affected the power supply in posh residential areas including trans-Hindon areas of Indirapuram and Sahibabad. The power supply was restored after repairing the faults.
