It was chilly and foggy Sunday morning in Delhi, that led to 48 trains being delayed due to poor visibility.
The Met Office has forecast a cloudy day ahead with thick fog in the evening. The minimum temperature was 6.4 degrees Celsius, two notches below the season's average.
"Trains such as North-east Express, Taj Express and Mahabodhi Express are running late due to the thick fog that has caused poor visibility," said an statement from the Northern Railway.
"The departure of 9 trains were also rescheduled from Delhi due to fog," added the statement.
According to the India Meteorological Department, Delhi will see a cloudy day ahead with fog in the evening.
"The maximum temperature of the day is likely to hover around 18 degrees Celsius," said an official of the IMD.

Visibility at 8.30 a.m Sunday morning was 600 meters.
Saturday's maximum temperature was 17.5 degrees Celsius, five notches below the season's average while the minimum temperature settled at 7.2 degrees Celsius, a notch below the season's average.
