Pakistan on Tuesday suspended landing permits, and said all foreigners entering Pakistan without valid visa or without completing immigration process would be prosecuted under law.
The move comes following visa irregularities and breach of security protocols by advance teams and accompanying staff of various hunting parties from abroad -- especially from the Middle East.
Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar ordered the ministry, immigration department and civil aviation to put in place an effective system for streamlining and checking any breach of law, according to an official statement.
The minister has also directed aviation division to ensure that landing permission be granted only after ascertaining number of people on board, their nationalities and the nature of their visas.
