Four persons were killed and two others injured in a major car accident in West Bengal's Howrah district on Tuesday, police said.
The accident took place in Deulti area when the car they were travelling in rammed into the back of an oil tanker.
A private sedan with six passengers rammed into the back of an oil tanker while heading towards East Midnapore district's Kolaghat. Four persons died on the spot and two others got in the accident, a police officer said.
According to police, the passengers of the car were residents of Assam.
