At least four people were killed and 22 others wounded Thursday when a booby-trapped car exploded in Syria's central Hamas province, media reported.
The blast also damaged two governmental establishments and set ablaze many cars, Xinhua reported citing the official SANA news agency.
Opposition activists said the blast targeted a security base in the area.
Explosions have become increasingly common in Syria, where a three-year-old conflict has killed more than 100,000 people and displaced millions of others.
