France and Croatia will resume their famous men's handball rivalry at this year's Olympic Games in Rio after they were drawn in the same group.
Between them, the European handball heavyweights have won four of the past five Olympic gold medals, Xinhua news agency reported on Friday.
France also beat Croatia in the final of the 2009 world championships in Croatia.
Also drawn in Group A were Argentina, Denmark, Qatar and Tunisia.
In the women's event, hosts Brazil - winners of the 2013 world championship - have been drawn in Group A alongside Angola, Montenegro, Norway, Romania and Spain.
