An air purifier company on Friday announced the launch of a free cab service in a bid to make the Delhi government's odd-even scheme a success.

Ten blue-coloured cabs will operate from different parts of the city and offer free travel to passengers, Blueair company's India head Vijay Kannan said.

These cabs will be available on the Connaught Place-AIIMS stretch, ISBT-Vishwavidyalaya route, ITO-Akshrdham route, INA-Dhaula Kuan stretch and Munirka-Nehru Place route.

"We wish to provide free services to around 1,000 people till the Delhi government's odd-even scheme is in force. The idea is to reinforce the belief that simple efforts make a big difference," Kannan said.
