Five people died on Sunday in a gas poisoning incident in China's Shandong province, government said.
The incident happened at 5.50 p.m. in a stainless steel company in Zouping County, Xinhua news agency reported.
Another 12 people were hospitalised, with five still in critical conditions, according to a statement from the local government.
The cause of the incident is under investigation.
