Germany, Japan appeal to uphold Ukraine ceasefire

Germany and Japan have called on all parties in the Ukraine conflict to comply with the agreed ceasefire.

German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier and his Japanese counterpart Fumio Kishida Tuesday voiced their concerns about recent ceasefire violations after a meeting in Berlin, Xinhua reported.

In addition to the German-Japanese relations, the leaders focused on developments in Iraq and the conflict between Israel and the Palestinians.
