Actor Ranbir Kapoor Tuesday said he was not aware of any plans for his father Rishi Kapoor and him to reprise his great-grandfather Prithviraj Kapoor and grandfather Raj Kapoor's roles in "Awara", saying one will have to get them and Nargis back to this world to make the film again.
"I live with my mom and dad but so far my dad has not told me anything about this.. I even read about this for the first time in the news papers. I wouldn't like to remake 'Awara' because you will have to get Raj Kapoor, Nargis ji, Prithviraj Kapoor back to this world, then this film can be made again," Ranbir told reporters during the association of Parachute oil product with "Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani".
"I don't think we have the capability to touch a film like 'Awara'. The film was made to the best of its capabilities and I wouldn't like to touch it."
'Awara', which was released in 1951, was directed by Raj Kapoor and featured him, Prithviraj Kapoor, Nargis, and K.N. Singh among others.
