Counted among the best three institutes of higher education for a career in hospitality management, Glion Institute of Higher Education has won the Best Hospitality Management School 2015 award at a ceremony in France.
The institute, which has a campus each in Switzerland and Britain, received the award at the Worldwide Hospitality Awards function held recently at InterContinental Paris Le Grand Hotel, France.
"It is truly an honour to receive this award," said Judy Hou, director general of Glion Institute of Higher Education.
"For more than 50 years, Glion has been at the forefront of hospitality management education worldwide. This is an important international recognition for our continuous academic innovation and leadership in the industry."
The Worldwide Hospitality Awards is an international competition that was created to allow hospitality companies to highlight their teams' exemplary achievements in communications, marketing, concept, and human resources.
Founded in 1962, Glion Institute of Higher Education is a private Swiss institute that offers undergraduate, graduate and post-graduate programmes in the fields of hospitality, tourism, and events, sports, and entertainment management.
A global survey in 2013 by TNS India marketing agency ranked Glion among the top three hospitality management schools in the world for an international career.
