Goa's three BJP MPs staged a protest here on Thursday as part of a nationwide stir called by the BJP against the disruption of Parliament's budget session by opposition parties.
The BJP MPs were accompanied in Panaji's Azad Maidan Square by party workers and MLAs, who shouted slogans against the Congress' attempts to derail the parliamentary session.
"The country needs to know how the Congress has been trying to derail the government business in the Parliament. We aim to do that through our dharna," Union Minister of State for AYUSH, Shripad Naik, said.
Goa's two Lok Sabha seats are represented by Naik (North Goa) and Savoikar (South Goa). Vinay Tendulkar is the lone Rajya Sabha MP from the state.
