Chelsea football club announced the signing of goalkeeper Willy Caballero, who spent the last three seasons at Manchester City.
Chelsea on Saturday confirmed the signing in a statement on its website but did not specify the duration or value of the contract inked with the 35-year-old Argentine goalkeeper, reports Efe.
"I am very happy to join Chelsea, the champions of England. I am looking forward to meeting the guys and helping the club achieve more success in the coming season," Caballero said.
The English Premier League (EPL) champion said Caballero would provide goalkeeping depth after the departure of Asmir Begovic to Bournemouth.
Chelsea added that the Argentine net minder has "a wealth of experience at the highest level".
Caballero started his career at Boca Juniors in the Argentine league before playing for Spanish clubs Elche and Malaga.
