Goalkeeper Agustin Marchesin has been included in Argentina's Copa America squad after fellow custodian Mariano Andujar was ruled out for the remainder of the competition, the Argentina Football Association (AFA) announced on Tuesday.
Regular reserve goalkeeper Andujar fractured his wrist in the warm up ahead of Argentina's 1-0 triumph over Jamaica and then travelled back to his country to have the injury assessed, reports goal.com.
The 27-year-old is set to be reunited with his national teammates after coach Gerardo Martino wanted him to be in the squad for the knock-outs.
He will presently serve as first choice goalie Sergio Romero's back up on the bench in the quarter-final clash against Colombia scheduled for next Saturday.
Marchesin made his international debut for Argentina against Venezuela in March 2011, before a second appearance last October against Hong Kong.
