Photo sharing and storage service Google Photos is introducing a feature that automatically recognises the photographs of the users' dogs and cats alongside people.
"Rolling out in most countries today, you'll be able to see photos of the cats and dogs now grouped alongside people and you can label them by name, search to quickly find photos of them, or even better -- photos of you and them," Google wrote in a blog post late on Monday.
It will now be easier to create albums, movies -- or even a photo book of your pet, the blog post added.
Google Photos service was announced in May 2015 and spun out from Google+ -- the company's social network.
Google Photos gives users free, unlimited storage for photos up to 16MP and videos up to 1080p resolution.
