German football champions Bayern Munich have said forward Mario Gotze must decide for himself if he wants to go away from the club.
The German international has not quite been able to fit in the Bayern Munich squad since moving from Borussia Dortmund in 2013.
And with the arrival of new head coach Carlo Ancelotti, Bayern's CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has refused to give Gotze any guarantees.
"I had talks with him (Mario) and (Carlo) Ancelotti. Mario knows the thoughts of Bayern," Rummenigge was quoted as saying by Skysports on Wednesday.
"Everything was clearly and seriously explained to Mario. He knows what the club thinks and what the new coach thinks. Mario has to evaluate for himself whether he wants to play constantly."
The 23-year-old a few days back said he was looking forward to working with Ancelotti. He also parted ways with his agent, Volker Struth, who had previously criticised the club.

Despite only starting in 11 Bundesliga matches this season, Gotze is all set to be a part of Germany's squad for Euro 2016.
