Oct 28: The Centre told the Supreme Court that the President has given consent to invite the BJP to form the government in Delhi.

Sep 9: Supreme Court gives the central government a month to end the stalemate on government formation.

Sep 8: The Aam Aadmi Party releases video of the BJP allegedly trying to poach AAP MLAs in a bid to form government in Delhi. The BJP denies horse trading charges by the AAP.

Aug 13: The AAP launches a signature campaign on government formation.

Aug 5: The Supreme Court tells the Centre to decide soon on government formation in Delhi.

 

Feb 17: President's Rule imposed in Delhi.

Feb 14: Arvind Kejriwal of AAP resigns as Delhi chief minister over Jan Lokpal bill.

Feb 10: Independent legislators withdraw support to AAP.

Dec 28, 2013: Arvind Kejriwal of AAP takes oath as chief minister of Delhi.

Dec 17, 2013: AAP seeks public opinion on government formation.

Dec 8, 2013: Delhi assembly election result declared. The BJP-Akali Dal combine wins 32, AAP 28 seats and Congress secures eight seats.
