The newly elected members of the Haryana assembly Tuesday unanimously decided to donate a month's salary for the Jammu and Kashmir Relief Fund.

On the second day of the first sitting of the assembly, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar said all the legislators will donate their first salary towards Jammu and Kashmir Relief Fund after keeping Re.1 with themselves.

Former chief minister and Congress leader Bhupinder Singh Hooda said the previous Haryana government had also contributed funds and relief supplies to the flood-ravaged Jammu and Kashmir.
