Actress Amber Heard has withdrawn a restraining order against her former husband Johnny Depp after he agreed to pay her $7 million as settlement.

The settlement comes one day before a court hearing to determine whether or not the restraining order would be extended, reports aceshowbiz.com.

"Our relationship was intensely passionate and at times volatile, but always bound by love. Neither party has made false accusations for financial gain. There was never any intent of physical or emotional harm.

"Amber wishes the best for Johnny in the future. Amber will be donating financial proceeds from the divorce to a charity," they said.

Heard was granted a temporary restraining order against Depp after she accused him of domestic violence. She also asked for $50,000 a month in spousal support, but her request was denied by a judge.

She later retracted her alimony demand because she claimed it drew attention away from her alleged abuse.

A few days ago, a video showing Depp in a drunken rage leaked just before Heard sat down for a deposition with his lawyers. A photograph of his severed fingertip later followed.

He reportedly cut off his finger in another fight with his estranged wife and accused her of cheating on him with fellow actor Billy Bob Thornton.
