Child actress Hetal Gada, who plays the little girl Pari in Nagesh Kukunoor's "Dhanak", says she was extremely touched by the director's concern for her during one of the scenes in the film.

"There was a scene where I fall unconscious on the sand dunes and Krrish (her brother in the film) cries and pleads for help. During the shot, I could not get up as the shape of the dunes had to remain the same for the entire scene so the entire day I had to lie down.

"In the lunch break, Nagesh (Kukunoor) sir came to me with a plate of Dal Khichdi and a banana. He fed me with his own hand. And that was a really emotional moment for me," said Hetal in an interview.

"Dhanak" revolves around a heart-warming story of a sister, aged 10, who traverses across Rajasthan with her blind brother, aged 8, to fulfill a promise she made to him. The story is about both of them going out in search of superstar Shah Rukh Khan.

Hetal says that it was scary to work in a location like Rajasthan where the climate was quite unfavourable.

"There was a scene where I was writing a letter to Shah Rukh sir and lots of insects were crawling on me. Rajasthan is full of creepy-crawlies. Even when we used to sleep, they would climb on us. That was really scary," she said.

"Dhanak" is set for a nationwide release on June 10.
