Hospitality major Hilton Worldwide is expanding its presence in this tech hub by opening its second hotel in the city's upscale eastern suburb Friday.
"As our fourth brand hotel in India, Hilton Bangalore Residences will expand our presence in an important market in the country, which is among our key strategic regions," Hilton Hotels & Resorts global head Rob Palleschi said in a statement here Thursday.
Owned by Umbel Properties Ltd, the star hotel is strategically located in a business park that is a hub for several Fortune 500 firms and a commercial nerve centre, with easy access to shopping, entertainment and dining.
"The full-service hotel features 247 studios and one-two bedroom suites built for transient business travellers to long-stay guests and offers living, dining and work areas with a fully-equipped kitchenette," Palleschi said.
Hilton forayed into the city early this year by opening its DoubleTree Suites in the northwest suburb.
The suites also have separate living rooms, washers/dryers and dishwashers and the kitchenettes are furnished with appliances for self-catering.
