Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh on Monday laid the foundation stones of an international shooting range and a fine arts college in Shimla rural assembly constituency.
A sum of Rs.35 crore has been sanctioned by the state government for developing the shooting range, whereas around Rs.30 crore would be spent on construction of the fine arts college, an official statement said.
Addressing a public meeting, Virbhadra Singh said state-of-the-art facilities would be provided in the shooting range which would give a suitable platform not only to the youth but to national and international players.
Referring to the development of the constituency, the Chief Minister said health, educational and veterinary institutions have been opened besides construction of link roads to connect the villages.
