Himachal Pradesh Governor Acharya Devvrat and Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh on Tuesday greeted the people on the occasion of Independence Day and Janmashtami.
In their felicitation message to mark India's Independence Day, they said the state has made unprecedented progress in all spheres and the credit goes to the hard work of the honest people.
Greeting the people on Janamashtami, the Governor said the teachings and philosophy of Lord Krishna are more relevant in the present context and "we all should follow them to lead a successful life".
