The hill destinations across Himachal Pradesh on Thursday saw partly cloudy conditions with Keylong in Lahaul-Spiti district coldest in the state at a low of minus 2.4 degrees Celsius, a meteorological official said here.
The official told IANS that the western disturbances remain active with chances of rain and snow in the state till March 27.
The state capital recorded a minimum temperature of 12.1 degrees, while the temperature was five degrees in Kalpa in Kinnaur district, 10.8 degrees in Dharamsala and 13 degrees in Dalhousie.
Manali saw a low of 5.6 degree Celsius.
The weather was largely dry in the past 24 hours, said the official.
He said western disturbance, a storm system originating in the Mediterranean-Caspian Sea region and moving across the Afghanistan-Pakistan region, would be active in the region with more chances of rain across the state on Friday.
Likewise, high-altitude areas of Lahaul and Spiti, Chamba, Kullu and Kinnaur districts may experience snow, he added.
