The Himachal Pradesh government has sanctioned additional funds for developing two industrial estates in the state, an official said on Friday.
The state government had taken effective steps to complete industrial areas in Pandoga in Una district and Kandrauri in Kangra district and has released its second installment of Rs.16.38 crore for both the projects, a government spokesperson said.
The industrial projects have been developed by the Himachal Pradesh State Industrial Development Corporation.
Earlier, the state had released Rs.7.19 crore for Pandoga and Rs.5.10 crore for Kandrauri industrial area.
The hill state has accorded approval for setting up 219 industrial units with an investment of Rs.11,663 crore in the past three years.
