Designer Hina Butt is known for her youthful and iconic designs and she kept the trend going with her latest pret range on second day of the ongoing PFDC (Pakistan Fashion Design Council) Sunsilk Fashion Week 2014.
The designs were not only chic and sophisticated but also very wearable. The four- day fashion gala started here Thursday.
Titled "Rukn-e-Alam: Pillars of the World", the collection was inspired by the heritage of the Sufi mystic city of Multan and its distinct blue and white pottery,
From colour palette, patterns for embroidery, embellishment techniques, patchwork, cutwork and digital prints, every single thing of the collection was extracted from the hand painted pottery of the region.
"The collection channels a modern and contemporary look in a variety of fabrics such as grip, chiffon, raw silk and organza," said the designer who retails under her label Teena by Hina Butt.

White and blue played the prominent colour base for the silhouettes that varied from voluminous gowns to straight cuts with a focus on shorter lengths to tapered pants for a sleeker look.
Having first launched in November 2010, the label has since established a distinct brand presence with their range that comprises of luxury formal, semi-formal and bridal wear for fashion consumers in Pakistan and overseas.
