The Akhil Bharatiya Akhada Parishad, a grouping of Hindu holy men, said on Wednesday that it will soon launch a global campaign to promote yoga.
A spokesman told IANS that a worldwide publicity and promotion campaign would be kickstarted after the approval of the heads of 13 'akhadas', each representing a clan of ascetics.
"We have decided to take yoga to all the corners of the world," the spokesman said.
The group lauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his active backing to yoga.
