Hockey India (HI) president Narinder Batra Tuesday clearly stated that they do not require the services of former men's team chief coach Terry Walsh and will look for a replacement "with the approval of SAI".

Addressing a letter to the Sports Authority of India (SAI) Director General Jiji Thomson, Batra wrote that they received a confidential mail from Hockey USA which stated that the issue of financial irregularity between the body and Walsh has still not been settled.

"Hockey India now does not require services of Mr. Terry Walsh and will look for a new chief coach with approval of SAI," wrote Batra.
