Paris, Nov 18 (IANS/EFE) Valerie Trierweiler, the ex-girlfriend of French President Francois Hollande, is preparing for a media blitz in Britain to promote the English version of her tell-all account of their affair, French newspaper Le Parisien reported Tuesday.
The former first lady, who broke up with Hollande after his affair with actress Julie Gayet was revealed, has already sold 10,000 copies in Britain of her book, "Thank You For This Moment: A Story Of Love, Power And Betrayal" and 600,000 in France.
Le Parisien noted that British tabloids love to write about the private lives of politicians and make fun of the French, meaning Trierweiler will likely be in great demand by the media in addition to the coverage she has already been given by the BBC and The Times.
Trierweiler recorded an interview in the BBC's Paris studios that is set to be broadcast on its Newsnight programme.
She will also be the guest in The Andrew Marr Show on the BBC slated for Sunday and will appear on the cover of The Times Saturday, according to Le Parisien.

Trierweiler has been silent since the release of her book Nov 4, the bestseller that alleged, among other things, that the Socialist Hollande privately referred to the poor as the "toothless ones". The French president later denied saying it.
