Switzerland-based international think-tank Horasis is going to hold its first Asia meet in India at Kolkata. The two-day meet, starting from November 26, is expected to be attended by over 350 Asian business leaders from 65 countries.
"Our aim is to explore and advance regional co operation, impact investment and achieve sustainable growth. Representatives from 65 countries will be present at the two day event," said Shaswat Goenka, President, Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC), which is the co-host of the event with the global think-tank.
West Bengal will be the state partner of the meet and Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee will address the gathering.
Union Commerce Minister Suresh Prabhu, Bangladesh Commerce Minister Tofael Ahmed, Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal, Niti Aayog CEO Amitabh Kant and many other personalities are expected to be present at the meet.
Elaborating on the two day conference Goenka said that Japan will have the biggest delegations followed by Myanmar, Vietnam and the Phillipines.
