Security personnel on Wednesday recovered a huge quantity of explosives, including materials for making IEDs and pressure cookers, from a Maoist den in Jharkhand's Gumla district.
According to Police, the explosives were recovered during a joint operation conducted by the state police and CRPF at Kumari jungle in Gumla district.
Police seized 28 piece of pressure cookers used for making landmine IED bombs. The pressure cookers seized varied from two litres to five litres.
Maoist guerrillas are active in 18 of the 24 districts of the state.
