The national capital experienced a humid day on Monday with the maximum temperature settling at 34.9 degrees Celsius, one notch above the season's average, the Met office said and forecast a partly cloudy Tuesday.
"There would be a partly cloudy sky on Tuesday," an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.
The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 35 and 25 degrees Celsius, respectively.
The minimum temperature on Monday was recorded 25.2 degrees Celsius, one notch above the season's average, while the humidity oscillated between 89 and 53 per cent.
Sunday's maximum temperature settled at 34.3 degrees Celsius, average for the season, while the minimum temperature was recorded at 25.6 degrees Celsius, two notches above the season's average.
