Actor-turned-MP Shatrughan Sinha on Monday said he was a "committed soldier" of the BJP and has full faith in it, after some party leaders criticised him for praising Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.
"I joined the BJP when there was no chance of it coming to power," Sinha, the Lok Sabha member from Patna Saheb, told reporters.
Sinha -- popularly known as "Bihari Babu" -- said that those party leaders who have questioned his commitment to the Bharatiya Janata Party were much junior to him in the party.
Sinha was criticised by some party leaders for praising Janata Dal-United leader Nitish Kumar twice recently. He described Nitish Kumar as the best chief minister Bihar has seen. Some BJP leaders even questioned Sinha for meeting Nitish Kumar twice.
