Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap believes that he is a man who gets influenced too often by many people.
"I think I am receptive kind of person. My influences are far too many and I take inspiration all the time," said Kashyap during Blenders Pride Fashion Tour event on Monday.
Known for making gritty hard hitting films, Kashyap has made films like "Black Friday", "Dev D", "That Girl in Yellow Boots" and "Gangs of Wasseypur".
Speaking about influences on his career, Kashyap said: "When I was a child I was influenced by Guru Dutt. Later on Martin Scorsese influenced me a lot.
"Today current filmmakers like Neeraj Ghaywan (director of 'Masan'), Chaitanya Tamhane (director of 'Court') or recently I've seen Tithi Ram Reddy's Kannada film, I've never seen this kind of outstanding movies that too within limited budget in recent times. I think all these people inspired me."
