Theatre director-actor Barry John says that despite being a non-smoker, he could easily identity with his "hippie" character in "M Cream".
"M Cream" is set to hit the theatres on July 22.
Barry will be seen playing a cameo as a hippie in the film and while he points out that he's never been a hippie in real life, the film resonates strongly with him.
"That's also the primary reason I agreed to do the film," Barry said in a statement.
"I found the story to be very unusual and the script was so well written that there was no way I wasn't doing this. I lapped it up. Although I don't smoke pot and I've never been a hippie in my real life, the film I can strongly identify with," he added.
