Three films old Varun Dhawan might have started off as an assistant director, but it's acting that holds a special place in his life.
"I was craving for a day off and I finally got it but as the day turns to night I can't wait to get back to work. I love being an actor," tweeted Varun, who will soon get busy with the promotion of his forthcoming film "Badlapur".
"Badla badla badla #badlapur gonna start promotions on feb1st," he added.
Before making his acting debut in 2012 with "Student of the Year", he assisted filmmaker Karan Johar on Shah Rukh Khan-starrer "My Name is Khan".

Indian actress Nimrat Kaur struck a pose with Oscar-winning Hollywood star Lupita Nyong'o at at the 21st edition of the Screen Actors Guild Awards held in Los Angeles.
The ceremony took place Sunday night and "The Lunchbox" star grabbed an opportunity to take a photograph with Nyong'o.

Actress Shraddha Kapoor says she loved Kangana Ranaut in last year's hit film "Queen".
"Did I mention that I absolutely LOVED Kangana in Queen? Pure talent personified. Looking forward to her upcoming films," Shraddha tweeted.
Kangana played an inspirational girl next door in the Vikas Bahl directorial.
