Reality TV star Kim Kardashian West, who has been posting nude selfies on social media and inviting criticism for it, says she feels empowered by her body.
"I don't do drugs, I hardly drink, I've never committed a crime - and yet I'm a bad role model for being proud of my body," Kardashian, 35, wrote on her website and app on Tuesday in a post celebrating International Women's Day, reports people.com
"It always seems to come back around to my sex tape. Yes, a sex tape that was made 13 years ago. 13 years ago. Literally that long ago. And people still want to talk about it?!?!"
She went on to write that she "lived through the embarrassment and fear", but ultimately moved on, deciding that she shouldn't have to continue to list her accomplishments to prove she is "more than something that happened 13 years ago". Kim said this in reference to her sex tape with ex-boyfriend Ray J.
"I am empowered by my body. I am empowered by my sexuality. I am empowered by feeling comfortable in my skin," she wrote.

"It's 2016. The body-shaming and sl*t-shaming - it's like, enough is enough. I will not live my life dictated by the issues you have with my sexuality. You be you and let me be me," she added
She also praises her family, saying she is "empowered" by husband Kanye West, "who is so accepting and supportive and who has given me a new found confidence in myself".
"He allows me to be me and loves me unconditionally," she added.
