Actress Ishaara Nair, who was last seen in Tamil hit film "Sathuranga Vettai", says she no longer has any inhibitions of her screen image and would do what her character demands.
"When I started acting, I was quite image-conscious. Even to cry on screen, I would think twice. But I've slowly started to shed those inhibitions. Now, I give more importance to my character and do everything that's expected from me for it," Ishaara said in a statement.
With three films in her kitty, she says she wants to be remembered for her performance.
"I'm keen on taking up performance-oriented roles because I came to the industry to perform, not to entertain. I don't want to get stereotyped," she said.
She currently has Tamil films Adhi "Medhavigal", "Papparapam" and Telugu romantic-drama "Okasari".
